Editing Learner response

1) Export setting - Not full screen Excellent creative response - Meets brief perfectly with some very nice touches ( Props, Setting, Lighting, Framing of shots). Good use of music in places (Although it seemed to cut out at one point). Dialogue could have been a little clearer in places too. 2) Match on action is very good Good narrative Met the brief Instead of dropping sound you could smooth it down  Dead space in some shots more shots to make it smoother Full screen 3) I seemed to have completed all the requirements on the brief (Match on action, 180 degree rule, Shot reverse shot). The video could have had more time spent on it in terms of editing as it may have solved a few of its problems (Making the video full screen). Music was used to elevate tension but it could have had a better ending as it abruptly cuts off near the end without a trace.  4) The strengths of my video in my opinion would be its setting as it reinforced the tension the narrative tries to create visu...

Editing blog task (750 words)

Mirror Scene-Spiderman The scene starts at a slow pace till a voice is spoken to the character then it starts to mildly speed up in conjunction with the voice speaking. The camera zooms onto his eyes and quickly shifts to his masks hanged up on the wall and whip pans to the mirror and resumes to a more leisurely paced sequence between the character's reflection. This scene is held for a long period. They create the illusion of him talking to himself by showing the same shot from different angles and switching between them when one side starts to talk. Throughout the scene, they constantly like to switch up the pace to keep the conversation unstable. The camera shots taken till 00:35 are all slow-paced usually taking about 5 to 10 seconds to switch to the next shot, this effectively increases the tension of the scene while giving the audience more familiar with the setting itself easily communicating to the audience what type of character is within the scene.
