1) Clockwork Orange- The music choice isn't what I would expect from this type of scene from that movie with all the chaos going on around it as the guy hits them all into the water and holds a knife. I believe the director chose this music to show us what hes thinking not just from there internal monologue but through non diagetic sound. The characters mind sees his actions as methodical and planned so everything going on is within his control. Funny Games- At the beginning the music seems to be parallel to whats going on in the scene with a nice calm and classic song maybe trying to show that the family is just your everyday normal group of people. Then near the middle the music takes a drastic shift and becomes contrapuntel to whats going on. The director might be trying to say that underneath the façade of them being normal they're lives are in constant chaos. The 2nd music was loud and a obnoxious.
